Boston is the capital of the most populous city of Massachusetts in the United States. It is one of the oldest city and upon independence from Great Britain, the city continued to be a major port and hub for the center of education and culture. The Boston marathon

Boston Marathon

It is recognized as one of the five World’s Marathon Measures held on third Monday of April every year. 42 Kilometer Boston Marathon is known to be the world’s oldest marathon since 1987. While at the beginning, it has few handful runners but today it has 20,000 runners along with a half a million speculators.

St Patrick’s day

Boston boasts 24 percent people from Irish descent and the parade attracts 150,000 people and three million people watching each year. In fact, it is believed that the very first parade of St Patrick’s Day took place here – even before in Ireland and Dublin. Celebrating St Patricks Day in Boston means marching bands, bagpipers, the abundance of Irish pubs, parade overflowing with floats and you don’t want to miss it.

Harbor Fest

A 36 year old tradition celebrated in Boston – A six day Fourth of July festival showcasing Boston’s colonial history For almost 30 years, Harborfest, continues to be the largest patriotic event in the country with visitors enjoying over 200 activities. Some of the key events include – cruise, live music, heritage related exhibitions, boat tours, etc.

The Big E Eastern State Exposition

One of the top events and festivals attracting million of fairgoers, also known as New England’s Biggest celebration. Big E celebrates all six states- Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine and Rhode Island. This 17 day event is the biggest cultural event on the eastern seaboard. Competitive exhibits, crafts, shopping, rides, Storrowton Village Museum and food from all around the world are some of the major attractions of the event.

Phantom Gourmet

Food Festival – It has brought food, wine, music, and entertainment for the last ten years for in Boston. The event attracts approx. 10,000 people, held in September and features more than 100 dishes. Your ticket to the event will display all different food options.

Boston Wine Festival

One of the largest wine event in the United States. Also known as the “America’s Longest-Running Wine Festival. Begins in last week of January and lasts for three and half months. Wineries from different regions exhibit their wine for tasting and menus are not repeated.

Boston Arts Festival

For those who are a fan of art and culture, Boston Arts Fest is a one day event started in 2006 and had now grown to a three days event. The event features an artist’s village and many other performances.
